People have been customizing their cars for nearly as long as the automobile has been part of our lives. By the late 1920s, America car lovers began modifying by removing running boards and either removing fenders, or replacing them with bicycle fenders. You can still see this type of modification at hot rod shows. Just look for the early 1930s-era cars and you’ll see these same mods in practice today.
